Apple Pie Spiced Glazed Best Donuts Ever

When Fall hits, that is normally the time I want to start baking and when I say baking, I want to bake EVERYTHING!  Having the house smell like pumpkin spice, apple pie, cinnamon and chocolate chip cookies seems like a realtor’s paradise right?!  I mean, there is NOTHING like walking into a house that smells of freshly baked goods and wanting to cozy up to the fire (or radiator…because that’s what I had growing up!) and have a cup of hot cocoa, tea or whatever flavor latte you prefer.

So, last weekend we woke up to FINALLY cooler temperatures (45°F, which I should add was quickly followed up with 80°F weather for a few days.) *eye roll*.  I cozied up in some sweats and started to think about what I wanted to bake.  I knew I wanted a fall flavor, I wanted sweet but actually not TOO sweet, something that went well with my 2nd cup of coffee and that I could make quickly because well, growling tummies happen.  So, I decided to go with DONUTS!  Who will say no to donuts?

These will have you wanting to bake them every weekend because honestly, they won’t last you all week.  Enjoy!

  • Next add in the confectioners sugar and 1 Tbsp of milk. Whisk well until the consistency is between slightly thick but, smooth and silky. (you can add a small amount of milk at a time until you reach the desired consistency. Add in the apple pie spice and mix well.
