This dish is probably one of the easiest meals you will make this month! The shrimp cook up in just a few minutes and the sauce takes 5 minutes max between prepping for it and making it.
Serve this over Jasmine rice and pair it with your favorite veggie! My favorite is chopped Bok Choy Sautéed in Sesame Oil with a sprinkle of garlic powder.

Equipment
- Wok or large Sauté Pan
Ingredients
- 3 lbs Raw Shrimp Peeled, Deveined, Tail Off
- 2 Tbsp Chopped Garlic
- 2 Tbsp Chopped Ginger
- 1/2 C Mirin
- 1/2 C Sake
- 1/2 C Soy Sauce
- 4 Tbsp Sesame Oil 3 will be for the shrimp
- Sesame Seeds Optional
- Green Onion Garnish
Instructions
- Once your shrimp is peeled and tail off, pat them dry with a paper towel
- Heat a wok or large sauté pan over medium high heat, add 1 Tbsp. of oil. Once your oil is hot (not smoking) add your shrimp in batches (this will allow for shrimp to cook evenly)Cook shrimp for 2 minutes on each side or until pink throughout. Continue to cook in batches until all of the shrimp is cooked.
- For the Sauce: In a small saucepan, add the mirin and sake and bring to a boil. Lower heat to a simmer, add the garlic, ginger and soy sauce and simmer for 2 minutes. Remove from heat and add 1 Tbsp. of Sesame oil and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
- Serve shrimp over your choice of rice (Jasmine is my favorite) with a side of veggies (like bok choy or steamed broccoli) Spoon Sauce over dish and serve.
